EASY (And Delicious) Slow Cooker Beef Tips

Hi Everyone! Today I wanted to share a super easy (but delicious) recipe with you.

We have a busy week ahead and eating a home-cooked meal each evening helps us unwind and relax.  But some days, it's hard to spend extra time (that I don't have) preparing a home-cooked meal. That's where freezer and slow cooker meals come in! They are convenient, affordable and easy!

Here's one recipe that our family enjoys; and it's only four ingredients (WhooHoo)!

Slow Cooker Beef Tips**

1.5 lbs Beef Tips/Stewed Meat

1 Can Cream of Mushroom
1 Can of Beef Broth
1 Pkg. of Beef Onion Soup Mix

Directions: Place all ingredients in a slow cooker and stir. Cook on low for 6 hours.  THAT'S IT!!

This serves our family of 4 with some leftovers.

We enjoy the beef tips over rice or mashed potatoes.  Add a veggie and a salad. And your good to go!

Here's a few tips:

1) Beef tips can be expensive if not on sale.  If you find a good deal, buy several packs and put together some freezer meals.  Put all in ingredients into a gallon freezer bag and freeze flat.  You will save money and have a few meals in your freezer for a rainy day.

2)  You can cook these on high (for 3 hours), but I've found them to not be as tender.

3) Slow Cooker liners are your friend!  They make for a quick clean-up.

What are some of your "go-to" meals?  Have you done any freezer cooking?

Have a great week!
